Kenegdo ("Kenegdo," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you may have when you use the Kenegdo mobile application, website, and related services at kenegdo.app (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, do not use the Service.

1. Scope and Role of Kenegdo

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Kenegdo in connection with the Service. It does not apply to websites, services, or platforms operated by third parties, even if they are linked to or integrated with the Service.

Kenegdo is designed to support intentional relationship introductions. We do not guarantee that any introduction, match suggestion, communication, or relationship outcome will occur.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account information, such as name, email address, phone number if provided, date of birth or age confirmation, login credentials or authentication identifiers, and account settings.

Profile and matching information you choose to provide, such as photos, biography, values, traits, goals, background, preferences, and other information intended to help evaluate compatibility.

Communications and activity you send or create through the Service, such as requests, responses, reports, support messages, feedback, and any in-app communications or notes.

Verification information, if we offer or require verification, such as identity-confirmation details, safety checks, or other information used to help protect users and the Service.

Payment and transaction information if you purchase a paid feature or subscription. Payment card details are generally processed by our payment processor or app-store provider, not stored directly by Kenegdo.

Support, legal, and administrative correspondence, including emails, forms, bug reports, and requests you send us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device and technical information, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, app version, language settings, referring pages, and crash logs.

Usage information, such as pages or screens viewed, features used, searches, requests, interactions, clicks, timestamps, and general Service activity.

Approximate location information inferred from your IP address or device settings. If a location-based feature requires device location permission, we will request permission through your device or browser before collecting it.

Cookies, pixels, local storage, SDKs, and similar technologies used for authentication, security, analytics, preferences, and Service functionality.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Authentication providers, such as Apple, Google, or similar sign-in services, may provide account identifiers and basic information needed to sign you in.

Payment processors or app stores may provide transaction status, purchase identifiers, subscription status, and limited billing-related details.

Safety, anti-fraud, analytics, hosting, and infrastructure providers may provide signals or reports used to protect, operate, and improve the Service.

Other users may provide information about you through reports, requests, communications, or support submissions.

3. Sensitive Information

Kenegdo is intended to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate the Service. You should not provide highly sensitive information unless the Service specifically asks for it and you are comfortable doing so.

We do not want users to submit government identification numbers, financial account credentials, medical records, precise real-time location details outside approved location features, or other unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields. If you provide unnecessary sensitive information anyway, you do so at your own risk and we may remove it.

4. How We Use Information

Enforce our Terms of Service, community rules, and other agreements.

Comply with applicable law, legal process, regulatory obligations, and lawful requests from authorities.

Create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5. How We Share Information

5.1 With Other Users

Depending on how the Service is configured, other users may see profile, compatibility, request, and communication information that you choose to provide or that is necessary to operate the relevant feature. We do not intentionally display precise GPS coordinates to other users.

5.2 With Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and contractors who help us operate the Service, including hosting, database, analytics, authentication, security, fraud-prevention, customer support, email, SMS, payment, cloud storage, and app functionality providers. These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to provide services to us, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

5.3 With Payment Platforms and App Stores

If you purchase through Apple, Google, Stripe, or another payment platform, your purchase and billing relationship may also be governed by that platform’s terms and privacy policy.

5.4 For Safety, Legal, and Protection Purposes

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, regulatory obligations, enforce our agreements, protect rights, property, or safety, investigate potential violations, detect or prevent fraud or abuse, or respond to emergencies.

5.5 Business Transfers

If Kenegdo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable notice where required by law.

5.6 Aggregated or De-Identified Information

We may use or share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for lawful purposes, including analytics, research, reporting, business planning, and improving the Service.

6. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 18. Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include certain advertising or analytics practices. If we use technologies that trigger opt-out rights under applicable law, we will provide the required notice and choices.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, debug issues, protect against abuse, and improve the Service. You can manage many cookies through your browser settings. Some technologies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled through our settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and operate legitimate business records.

When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information unless we are legally permitted or required to retain it. Backup copies may remain for a limited period before they are overwritten in the ordinary course of business.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Access and portability: You may request a copy of personal information we maintain about you, subject to verification and legal exceptions.

Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to verification and legal exceptions.

Consent withdrawal: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent as allowed by law.

Marketing opt-out: You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.

Device permissions: You may control device permissions such as location, notifications, camera, and photos through your device settings.

Appeals: Where required by law, you may appeal a refusal to act on a privacy request by replying to our decision email or contacting us at support@kenegdo.app.

To exercise rights, contact support@kenegdo.app. We may verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. U.S. State Privacy Notices

Depending on where you live and whether applicable thresholds are met, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain targeted advertising, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change in a way that constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will update this Policy and provide required choices.

11. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion through the Service where available or by contacting support@kenegdo.app. Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your account or data. If the Service is distributed through an app store that requires in-app account deletion, we will provide an account-deletion initiation method in the app.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These may include access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, logging, monitoring, vendor controls, and security review practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact support@kenegdo.app promptly.

13. Children and Minors

The Service is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or delete the account and associated information. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact support@kenegdo.app.

14. International Users

Kenegdo is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by updating the effective date, sending an email, or providing in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
